Hydroxycut products, popular dietary supplements used for weight loss, have been linked to liver damage and are being recalled, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Friday.

The reports include the 2007 death of a 19-year-old man living in the Southwest, which was reported to the FDA in March. Other serious liver problems reported included liver damage that resulted in a transplant in 2002, liver failure, jaundice, seizures and cardiovascular problems.
The FDA is warning consumers to immediately stop using 14 Hydroxycut products manufactured by Iovate Health Sciences Inc. of Oakville, Ontario, and distributed by Iovate Health Sciences USA Inc. of Blasdell, New York.
According to the FDA, last year, Iovate sold more than 9 million units of Hydroxycut products, which were distributed widely to grocery stores, health food stores and pharmacies.

I bought hydrxoycut hardcore and found it gave me headaches, but nothing too serious. Nothing I’d want to sue anyone about anyway.
My problem was that the product didn’t work, which really sucked. It cost me about $90 for 3 bottles and I didn’t get any benefit.
I’d try Prescopodene instead. That kicks butt over hydroxycut anyway. I was on hydroxycut for 3 months and lost aboiut 3 lbs. Soon as I switched to Prescopodene I lost 9lbs the first week - yep, you read it right - 9lbs the VERY FIRST WEEK!
Then I average about 5lbs per week after that for 2 months, so i lost close to 50lbs in a couple of months.
